POSITION SUMMARY:

The position summary states the general nature and purpose of the job. Overall accountabilities are defined in this section.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBLITIES AND TASKS:

Responsibilities and tasks are written as follows:

* Must attend and be on time to all required meetings.

* Responsible for safe operation of stuffing machine. (Polyclip - Tipper Tie)

* Machine set up and shut down.

* Place casings in Vmag to soak on water before use.

* Must verify that proper product is selected prior to use.

* Once product is loaded, operate dumper to start filling the logs.

* Service stuffers and make setting adjustments as needed.

* Select and position proper horn into stuffer to ensure product is at proper diameter per product specifications.

* Must use proper casings, clips, and horns (per Spec).

* Feed casings to linking machine throughout shift.

* Print product labels for hangers (raw laborers).

* Ensure product is at proper weight and length.

* Maintain high product quality and adhere to product specifications.

* Maintain productivity as per company standard.

* Keep work area clean and organized. Clean up around machine.

* Dispose of inedible product accordingly.

* Open rework.

* Return unused casings to storage area.

* Follow GMPs, Safety and Quality Assurance rules and procedures.

* Must wear required PPE.

* Follow allergen control procedures.

* Ensure proper housekeeping throughout shift.

* Report any concerns to a member of management.

* Must be certified to operate any PIT.

* Must be LTT certified and follow all LTT procedures.

* Perform other duties as assigned.
