Work Order Controller - Weekend Days

Friday - Sunday and every other Thursday 5:00am - 5:00pm

The hourly wage for this position is $21.80 to $22.67 plus $1/hour shift dif.

New Hire Sign On Bonus - $2,000

This highly visible position is located at our Vancouver, WA Facility.

What you'll do:

This position will be responsible for conducting activities to review, release, and reconcile Work Orders (WO) from SAP into Swisslog and monitoring WO material transactions.

Essential Functions:

  • Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), company policies, safety policies and practices, quality standards, and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
  • Responsible at all times for ensuring that tasks are performed according to food safety, quality, and regulatory guidelines.
  • Conduct assigned work in a safe manner and adheres to all company safety regulations and policies.
  • Duplicate work order from SAP into Swisslog.
  • Review component availability to process work order.
  • Update work order status and feed information to shift supervisor and others as needed.
  • Coordinate activities with warehouse personnel to ensure timely execution of work orders.
  • Monitor work order transactions performed by production and manufacturing personnel, identifying issues, and correcting inaccuracies.
  • Issue some work order components.
  • Provide guidance to personnel regarding corrective actions for incorrect material transactions.
  • Reconcile completed WOs.
  • Perform other duties as required.

What you'll need:

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Ability to sort, check, count, and verify numbers.
  • Ability to prepare routine administrative paperwork.
  • Ability to lift and manipulate heavy objects.
  • Ability to receive, track, and distribute materials, supplies, and equipment.
  • Ability to use PC.
  • Proficient with WMS and SAP.
  • Ability to detect problems and report information to appropriate personnel.
  • Knowledge of light equipment operation and/or maintenance.
  • Ability to read, understand, follow, and enforce safety procedures.
  • Ability to maintain punctuality and predictable attendance.
  • Ability to wear appropriate personal protective equipment and clean room attire; perform moderate physical activity which requires standing and/or walking for more than four (4) hours per day and up to twelve (12) hours per shift and lifting and carrying items weighing up to 50 pounds; and perform work onsite in a light industrial environment, including some exposure to non-toxic dust.
