Description
The Senor Finance Analyst reviews and analyzes financial data including forecasts, plans and variances, providing insight, guidance and recommendations to senior leadership. The Senior Analyst is also involved in creating financial models, financial reporting and providing financial analysis support and recommendations to assigned business units.
Here's what you can expect from the job and what you need to be successful:
Job Duties
  • Prepare, review and analyze financial forecasts and plans, analyze variances, and proactively seek new forms of analysis and offer insights, and recommendations to leadership
  • Provide complex financial analysis, support and recommendations to assigned business units, guiding them through monthly P&L reviews
  • Create complex financial models in collaboration with business partners
  • Partner with Accounting in the month end financial close
  • Forecast scenarios and offer recommendations on balance sheet positioning
  • Partner with operations to optimize IT investment, drive efficiency, process improvement and budget management
  • Analyze ad hoc large data sets and provide insights to leadership
  • Lead in the regular maintenance/upgrades of the financial planning & analysis systems including HR and or Oracle Enterprise Planning & Budgeting Cloud Service and PROFITstar, as required
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial and regulatory reports, as required
Essential Skills
  • Minimum 4 years'experience in financial analysis and reporting with a mid-to-large size organization, including experience designing, preparing, and interpreting financial reports for management reporting and analysis
  • Experience in the financial services industry is preferred
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate as a team; anticipate needs and prioritize projects in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and high-volume peaks while producing high-quality work
  • Strong analytical and decision-making skills with attention to detail
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; able to express ideas concisely and logically
  • Ability to organize, analyze and interpret financial data to explain complex concepts to leadership
  • Ability to create and deliver engaging presentations tailored to leadership
  • Demonstrated ability to establish credibility and rapport with internal stakeholders
  • Familiarity with Oracle EPBCS, or other projection/ALM software is preferred
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel
  • Minimum Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance is preferred
Location: Hillsboro, OR 97124 | (HYBRID)
Target Compensation in Hillsboro, OR: $95k - $110k annually + annual bonus
