We have the perfect opportunity for you! We are currently seeking a qualified and experienced candidate to join our team as a Project Manager, Emergency Management who is eager to embrace challenges and enjoy the rewards of valuable work. This position will coordinate the design and development of emergency preparedness, operations plans and programs in addition to aiding in maintaining the physical security and safety of individuals and assets. This position will manage and track electronic security and life safety system projects of all office locations. This position will also assist in the planning, documenting, and implementing of emergency preparedness policy and procedures, keep site emergency documentation and contacts up to date. Will also assist in the planning of programs to aid in the maintaining of the physical security and safety of individuals and assets.

What you'll do:

  • Manage and track electronic security and life safety system projects of all office locations.
  • Carry out and implement safety and security procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities. Plan, document, and implement safety and security procedures, site- specific policies, and emergency response activities.
  • Execute corrective action to eliminate and/or limit unwanted risks
  • Assist and lead in the planning, coordination and delivery of emergency training, drill and exercise for all levels of the organization
  • Develops and sustains internal and external relationships to support the Emergency Management planning and preparedness.
  • Participates in emergency response
  • Perform a variety of fixed-post and tours, while maintaining awareness and making decisions and/or taking actions consistent with established post orders, facility rules, guidelines, and protocols
  • Respond to and submit reports on all security and life safety incidents
  • Exercise sound operational judgment and flexibility to shifting priorities and challenges
  • Respond swiftly and with urgency to incidents and medical emergencies as needed
  • Aid in the maintenance of the physical security posture and the safety of individuals and assets including the facility and its environment
  • Keep abreast of industry standards and knowledge to be able to educate your security colleagues
  • Interact professionally and effectively with other SEI teams providing the highest level of service, while maintaining the highest level of safety and security
  • Identify and respond to emergency situations and safety hazards
  • Perform additional tasks, related duties, projects, and special assignments as assigned

What we need from you:

  • Associates degree with continued education in emergency management and any relevant certification
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in emergency services.
  • Onsite presence required 5 days per week.
  • Willingness to be on call for emergency management and response.
  • Strong background in emergency response and preparedness
  • Ability to make sound, swift decisions
  • Experience managing projects
  • Previous experience in law enforcement, fire services, emergency services
  • General knowledge of fire systems, CCTV, access control, and visitor management (Genetec Security software knowledge a plus)
  • Strong skillset in PC and Windows applications
  • Basic GDPR compliance in relation to access control and CCTV
  • Holding and maintaining PA Act 235 certification, a plus
  • CPR/ AED/ basic first aid certification
  • De-escalation training
  • Ability to tour buildings, respond to incidents, adapt to a changing work environment, and cover shifts as needed, occasional lifting and moving of office equipment and boxes up to 50 lbs.
  • Strong time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey complex information in a clear, concise manner.
  • Strong organizational skills, with high attention to detail and accuracy in documentation and record keeping.
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with clients, vendors, and team members through clear communication and effective stakeholder management.
  • Professional demeanor, positive attitude, and a team player
