Sales

Our Sales teams help to deliver Reckitt's purpose by building shared success with our customers, making access to the highest quality hygiene, wellness, and nourishment possible in-stores and online. Within Sales, we're focused on achieving outperformance across all of our channels, operating in highly competitive categories. This focus results in a dynamic, fast paced environment where cross functional teams are encouraged to collaborate to achieve success. We have around 10,000 sales people across the world, within market roles and ranging in areas like Field Sales, Key Accounts, Trade Marketing and Category Development.

About the role

The Sales eCommerce Team Lead works closely with the Sales Director to create and execute the eCommerce commercial strategy on some of the most innovative and fastest moving customers in the industry, including Amazon. Key areas of responsibility include delivering the eCommerce commercial sales strategy, developing team members, working cross functionally to optimize customer efficiency and growth, building a strong relationship with the account teams and analyzing reports and category/customer insights to develop both short and long-term strategies across core segments.

To be successful in this position you must be experienced in the CPG industry and have a strong understanding of eCommerce. Critical skills include entrepreneurial spirit, ownership, agility, and strong interpersonal skills. It will be very important to understand 4P strategy, P&L management, supply chain management, performance marketing, and customer relationship management. A positive attitude towards problem solving and ability to manage challenging negotiations is also critical in this role

Key strategic initiatives involve managing P&L, delivering the annual sales plan, driving cross functional projects, optimizing supply chain efficiency, and accurately forecasting gross sales,

Your responsibilities

* Drive the eComm Commercial Strategy internally to support the creation of eCommerce Media and Customer Experience Strategy

* Lead a team of direct reports towards optimal business execution

* Own Profit and Loss statement, consistently looking for trade expense and sales optimizations to maximize Net Revenue and Gross Margin

* Lead Bi-Weekly meetings with Amazon and eComm leadership team

* Develop and present quarterly business review, providing key updates to internal leadership

* Lead the annual planning process, working cross functionally to develop key growth opportunities for the coming year

* Effectively develop and communicate business objectives internally both with your immediate team as well as with cross functional partners

* Utilize daily, weekly, and monthly reporting to drive optimizations and business strategy

* Develop direct reports into future business leaders

* Work closely with the data automation team to drive process and efficiency improvements

The experience we're looking for

* 4 year college degree

* 8 years' experience and proven knowledge/understanding of Syndicated Data

* Direct Sales experience with cross functional exposure to performance marketing and/or supply chain

* Amazon or eCommerce account experience preferred

* Experience leading a sales or ecommerce team

* Good understanding of Customer Management Process

* Strong oral, written communication, negotiation and presentation skills

* Proficient in Microsoft Office (Strong at Microsoft Excel & PowerPoint)

* Detail oriented with strong organizational skills and ability to successfully multi-task

* Good interpersonal and time management skills. Must enjoy working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment

* Knowledge of Consumer-packaged goods industry

* Strong Ecommerce understanding

US salary ranges

USD$158,000.00 - $238,000.00

US pay transparency

The base salary range for this role will vary based on experience in job and industry, training and education, skills relevant to the position, and other factors permitted by law. In addition to the base salary, the position is eligible for an annual discretionary bonus, which is subject to change each year.
