JOB OVERVIEW:

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Safely and efficiently operate a lift truck moving product from one location to another in a high pace environment.
• Pulling, staging, and loading product as directed by the department lead or team leader.
• Completes daily pre-shift inspection checklist for assigned lift truck.
• Sets up pull-back driver loads and loading/unloading trucks.
• Utilizes barcode scanning equipment while performing job duties.
• Assists team members in the event of product spillage.
• Keeps work are clean according to Good Manufacturing Practices and proper safety procedures, which can include sweeping, and picking up debris from warehouse floor.
• High-stacking is expected on a routine basis.
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as required by manager, supervisor/team lead, or department lead.

WHAT YOU NEED

*Minimum qualifications

• High school diploma or GED
• Forklift Certification
• General knowledge of routine maintenance and operation of a forklift
• Demonstrated ability to pass a high-stacking test
• Ability to lift minimum of 50lbs
• Ability to sit for a prolonged period of time
• At least 1-year industrial lift operating experience

WORK ENVIRONMENT

This is a standard manufacturing environment with exposure to noise, dust, hazardous materials, and heavy machinery in varying work and weather conditions. You may be required to occasionally climb stairs and/or ladders.
