Job Summary

The position is an integral role responsible to manage the Process & IT services, projects and relationship with the Backoffice Areas, which includes the following processes: Finance, Accounting, Costing, Taxes & Compliance, Fix Assets, Consolidation, Account Payables and Financial Reporting. Ensuring: 1) The IT services provided by different teams are done as expected to have the systems running properly (business continuity), 2) The changes & evolution of the Business Processes are managed according the standard methods & frameworks, 3) The Projects life cycle is executed properly (from the scoping, business case analysis, approval, execution, budget/cost/resources/plan management, implementation and benefits realization). Working closely with all roles involved: Business stakeholders, Process & IT teams, Outsourcing Service companies and 3rd party vendors.

Job Responsibilities

  • Support processes & systems:

    • Coordinate/monitor the IT support services for the systems/applications/interfaces related to the Backoffice processes
    • Responsible for incidents escalation, end-user's communication and root causes analysis and actions follow up


  • Design & improve processes, systems & practices:

    • Partner with Business stakeholders / key users to gather requirements and thoroughly understand the needs to improve/evolve the processes and systems.
    • Analyze business requirements, propose solutions and follow the approval process
    • Develop & implement the solution.


  • Deploy & adopt Business Processes & IT solutions by Managing & Coordinate:

    • Users Communication, Organizational Change Management & Training
    • User & HW Provisioning
    • Processes, Practices & Policies changes
    • Data Readiness: Master & transactional data clean-up, review & update/upload
    • Preparation, Testing, Implementation go-live, stabilization & move to support process
    • Assure deployment execution according to time and budget planned


  • Portfolio prioritization & roadmaps Management

    • Demand Management Process
    • Projects Management: Plan, Budget & resources Management
    • Obsolescence and evolution Roadmap


  • Support the M&A, Due Diligence, Integrate new businesses to Institutional Model.
  • Other projects and duties as assigned.
  • Ensure compliance with certain controls required by Internal Control, PACS, SOX, and external audit.


Qualifications

  • College degree in Computer Science
  • Experience in leading people.
  • 8+ years of Strong experience in Business Processes and IT Applications, especially on Accounting and Finance Processes. Industry experience helpful.
  • 8+ years of Strong experience in Digital / IT solutions deployment (processes & systems implementations).
  • 5+ years of Experience in Project Management, Agile & Scrum methodologies
  • 5+ years of Experience in IT Management and Leadership (leading projects & managing people)
  • MBA preferred.


Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Strong knowledge & skills of Accounting & Finance Processes & Systems: SAP FI/CO & MM (ECC & S/4 Hanna), SAP PI, SAP BW/BO, Vertex, Tableau, Power BI
  • Strong skills on development & support process & tools: Jira, Service now, Remedy
  • Strong skills in IT systems integration: APIs, EDIs, Integration tools
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Tools: Power Point, Project, Excel including Macro & Pivot Table, Word, Teams, etc)
  • Strong interpersonal skills and attention to detail
  • Ownership, Accountability and Customer Service Oriented
  • Team player, able take a leadership role in dealing effectively with various internal and external teams/departments
  • Proven ability to work independently, meet multiple deadlines, and manage workload in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work independently and with minimal supervision.
  • Able to travel within and outside the country to do his/her role.
  • English 100%, Spanish speaking - preferable


Working Conditions

  • Able to work with standard office/computer equipment
  • Able to work in an open concept office environment

Physical Requirements

  • Exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or a negligible amount of force frequently
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to communicate with employees and other individuals as well as function safely within an office environment and on occasion, may visit industrial plant locations
