About PD 1015: Next Bearcat Lives Here
PD 1015 is a 3-credit first-year seminar course that integrates both first-year and career education general education requirements. Meeting two times a week for 1 hour 20 minutes each throughout fall and capped at 28 students, the course focuses on assisting primarily Arts & Sciences (A&S) students in their transition to UC, fostering a sense of belonging and classroom community, connecting students with a campus support network, notably their A&S academic advisor, and exploring academic and professional pathways. PD 1015 sections may be themed by A&S majors and learning communities.Instructors are provided common course requirements, curricular resources, and high-impact trainings to prepare for the teaching experience.
