Inspection Contractor needed for a contract opportunity with SOC's client in Londonderry, NH.

Contract Length: 12+ Months


Responsibilities


  • Responsible for in-process and final inspection of client's products
  • Perform visual inspections of electrical components and assemblies using magnifiers, microscopes, and other non-complex tools
  • Able to follow and comply with documents such as work instructions, safety rules and departmental instructions
  • Review of documentation (route sheets, test sheets, and logbooks, etc.)
  • Performs accurate data and record keeping
  • Communicate findings through NCMR process for immediate action
  • Support Lean manufacturing efforts through continuous process improvement
  • Perform basic computer activities
  • Perform internal Calibration, Chemical, Work Instruction and Process audits
  • Participate in meetings and working groups to solve problems, communicate issues, obtain approvals, and maintain specific level of knowledge pertaining to new requirements or policies



Qualifications:


  • 4 years related experience or 2 years post- Secondary/Associates Degree with 0-2 years prior related experience.
  • Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal skills combined with meticulous recordkeeping practices
  • Ability to work with multiple disciplines from Operations, Engineering and Management
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Familiarity with ISO 9001 standards and practices
  • An understanding of electronic, optical, and mechanical assemblies
  • Computer skills
  • Must be able to perform light physical activities such as lifting and unpacking boxes, turning dials and knobs, opening and closing latches and covers
