Overview
This role is responsible for administrative duties and supporting the operational needs of the facility. This position will be responsible for facilitating the admission of visitors into and out of the facility, maintain resident charts, both paper and electronically, responsible for tracking vehicle maintenance needs, maintains inventory for facility supplies, and will coordinate with outside entities to ensure that facility needs are being met administratively. Additional responsibilities will include chart audits, tracking training needs of staff, support operational needs upon resident admissions and discharges, technology troubleshooting and coordination with IT, and will work closely with the Administrative Manager I to ensure that all operational and administrative needs are met. This position, Administrative Services Coordinator I (Job Requisition #52089), is open to all State employees and external applicants. Additionally, in accordance with AHS Policy 4.02 - Hiring Standards, Vermont and/or national criminal record checks, as well as DMV and adult and child abuse registry checks, as appropriate to the position under recruitment, will be conducted on candidates. Hiring managers will notify applicants who are in the final stage of the interview process of the finger-printing and background check requirement, to which an applicant must agree to be deemed eligible for this position. Applicants will have the right to withdraw their applications before finger-printing and/or a background investigation is conducted. Environmental Factors
Work is performed in a standard office setting. Minimum Qualifications
High School diploma or equivalent AND two (2) years or more of experience providing administrative-level support to a business or organization. OR One year of full-time college coursework in accounting, business or public administration, office administration or closely related field AND one (1) year or more of experience providing administrative-level support to a business or organization. OR Two years of full-time college coursework OR and associate's degree in accounting, business or public administration, office administration or closely related field. OR One (1) year or more of experience as an Administrative Services Technician IV with the State of Vermont. Special Requirements
For some positions experience working with the VISION system VISION is the State of Vermont PeopleSoft financial management system may be required. Total Compensation
