The Job

As part of our mission to keep seniors healthy and independent, understand SCAN's enterprise & business unit priorities to identify opportunities where external assets can contribute to the goal. This includes opportunities for portfolio company collaboration, outside investments, strategic partnerships, mergers/acquisitions, and opportunistic incubations.

You Will

Work with other departments to ensure corporate development activities are aligned to company goals.

Support cross-functional corporate strategy engagements executed in partnership with senior leadership.

Support portfolio company reporting processes.

Assist in portfolio company management & operational support.

Support industry trend analysis and provide market perspective that will inform portfolio company, investment, and partnership strategies.

Source new deal opportunities.

Conduct deal due diligence.

Perform financial modeling and analysis.

Support negotiations and necessary SCAN Board / management team approval processes.

Record all deal information for reporting and trend analysis.

Support M&A integration processes as needed.

Developing relationships with internal stakeholders and key external partners.

Developing and refining key corporate development team operating systems.

Actively support the achievement of SCAN's Vision and Goals.

Other duties as assigned.

Your Qualifications



  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Economics or related field. A comparable combination of education/experience and/or training will be considered equivalent to the education.
  • 4+ years of experience in investment banking, strategy/financial consulting, and/or corporate development.
  • Understanding of the US healthcare industry, preferably with industry work experience.
  • Strong executive presence.
  • Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Strong work ethic, detail orientation and passion for excellence.
