Supervises and coordinates activities and employees of applicable ambulatory office.
MINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: EDUCATION, CERTIFICATION, AND/OR LICENSURE: 1. Graduate of an accredited LPN program 2. Current unencumbered licensure with the WV Board of Practical Nursing, or appropriate state board where services will be provided, as a practical nurse OR current multi-state licensure through the enhanced Nurse Licensure Compact (eNLC). 3. Obtain certification in Basic Life Support within 30 days of hire date. EXPERIENCE: 1. Minimum of 3 years of healthcare experience. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: EXPERIENCE: 1. Two (2) years of supervisory experience preferred. Supervises and coordinates activities related to patient care activities within the ambulatory office. 16. Provides direct nursing care to patients in an outpatient medical office setting. 17. Consults with the Provider or Registered Nurse to seek guidance in delivery of nursing care, as necessary. 18. Works closely with office assistant and physician to facilitate patient's clinic visit. Ensure patient's chart is available. Escort patients to and from exam room. Assist with scheduling when necessary. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Lifting up to 60 pounds, pushing carts, positioning patients, less than 50% of work time. 3. May require bending and stretching movements.
