Job Title: Spanish Bilingual Warehouse Supervisor
Work Location: Humble, TX
Hours: 6:00am - 4:00pm
FLSA: Exempt, Direct-Hire, Full-Time
OVERVIEW:
An international food manufacturer is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor for its Humble, TX plant. Reporting to the Plant Manager at the corporate office, this role independently manages the daily operations of the warehouse. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience in a food manufacturing setting, with a strong background in inventory management and remote communication with the corporate office.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT NOT ARE LIMITED TO:
Warehouse Management and Improvement:
-Oversee and coordinate all warehouse activities, including receiving, storage, inventory control, and shipping.
-Ensure adherence to SQF, GMP, and organic standards.
-Develop and maintain efficient warehouse processes and procedures.
-Supervise warehouse staff performance, providing training and development as needed.
-Implement strategies to improve warehouse operations.
-Ensure the safe and effective use of warehouse equipment and facilities.
-Collaborate with production and logistics teams to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment.
-Ensure timely review and completion of documentation forms.
-Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.
-Ensure all activities comply with health and safety regulations.
-Conduct regular safety audits and implement corrective actions as necessary.
-Communicate effectively with internal teams, including production, quality assurance, and logistics.
-Manage relationships with external vendors and service providers.
Inventory Control:
-Oversee inventory management, including regular stock counts and reconciliation.
-Ensure accurate record-keeping and reporting of inventory levels.
-Manage inventory to minimize waste and maximize efficiency.
QUALIFICATIONS:
-Minimum of 5 years of experience in a food manufacturing environment with supervisory experience required.
-Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish required.
-Proven ability to lead, manage, motivate, and develop production staff members.
-Ability to operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts and rider pallet jacks (sit-down/stand-up/scissor lift).
-Experience and knowledge of FDA, USDA, GMPs, FSMA, and HACCP, as well as SQF and organic standards.
-Experience with lean manufacturing or Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) is a plus.
