Nursing/Administrative Support Intern:
Under supervision of the 6th floor leadership team:
  • Provide administrative support to Patient Experience Representatives (PER) and Administrative Assistants (AA):
    • Paper filing, phone triage, patient bookings
  • Provide Assistance to Nursing Leadership team including:
    • Support special unit-based projects
    • Patient welcome packet distribution
    • Assist patients/families with setting up patient portal access
    • Assist with organizing environment of care
    • Transfer paper documents/data to excel based spread sheets

Qualifications:

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Self-reliant with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Clearly demonstrates problem solving skills
  • Ability to escalate concerns and seek appropriate resources
  • Computer skills; proficient in Word, EXCEL, PowerPoint; Smartsheets, Microsoft Teams a plus
  • Willing to work some weekends

Additional information:
* Pay will be $15 per hour. Internship will run from 6/2/2025-8/8/2025.
* Hours will be 7am - 5:30pm 3-days per week.
