Regional VP Sales
What you will be doing: Stanson, a Premier Company, helps ordering providers make the best decisions for their patients, in terms of quality and cost outcomes. Our unique, in workflow approach influences behavior at the point when decisions are made that impact these outcomes - in real-time, in the EHR, at the point of care.
The purpose of this job is to develop and execute successful sales processes that result in the sale of our CDS solutions to the provider market. The RVP will formulate and execute strategies to drive new business revenue from both net -new customers and existing Stanson and Premier Alliance members.
The RVP will need to develop and foster new relationships at the C-suite level to understand the prospect's major organizational initiatives, then align the appropriate program-specific Stanson CDS solution. The RVP will need to develop strong and fluid working relationships with the Stanson Customer Success and Premier Member Field Services Team as the RVP may at times be relied upon for retention efforts and existing account growth opportunities
* Execute successful sales processes * Drive new business revenue * Foster new relationship Key Responsibilities Responsibility #1- 80% Sell full suite of CDS solutions to New and Existing Customers * Executive level sales prospecting to primarily new customers and position Stanson/Premier as a Strategic partner to target accounts * Identify business needs of prospective customers and present, close and sell program specific solutions (products and services) that will result in the customer's business improvement. Cross sell program specific, bundled solutions in the executive suite by merging customer strategic objectives with Premier solutions * Educate customers on the benefits and business results of program specific products and services * Implement strategies that will expand existing accounts * Work closely with and leverage customer success, and other sales and operations resources, to strengthen customer relations leading to identification and closure of additional program specific sales opportunities Match customer executives with "same level" resources to forge relationships at every level in the account Responsibility #2 - 10% Sales Administration Functions * Maintain appropriate status updates within the customer relationship management systems (SalesForce.com) * Maintain close plans, territory plans and other necessary sales documentation Responsibility #3 - 5% Develop a strategic web of influence * Join and participate in organizations frequented by customer executives * Attend conferences, meetings, community functions and other activities that enable executive contact Responsibility #4 - 5% Develop internal strategic relationships * Communicate strategic information to senior management * Coordinate the appropriate use of executive resources to close business * Build strong relationships with all internal departments and business units * Respect all internal resources by utilizing appropriately Required Qualifications Work Experience: Years of Applicable Experience - 7 or more years
Education: Bachelors (Required)
Preferred Qualifications Skills: * Foster new relationships at the C-suite level * Experience in a field based commission sales role Experience: * Practical hospital or healthcare experience * Selling Saas tech to Provider C-suite Additional Job Requirements:

Travel Requirements: Travel 21-40% within the US

Premier's compensation philosophy is to ensure that compensation is reasonable, equitable, and competitive in order to attract and retain talented and highly skilled employees. Premier's internal salary range for this role is $99,000 - $185,000. Final salary is dependent upon several market factors including, but not limited to, departmental budgets, internal equity, education, unique skills/experience, and geographic location. Premier utilizes a wide-range salary structure to allow base salary flexibility within our ranges.
