GENERAL JOB SUMMARY: The position of Maintenance Mechanic is to perform repairs, installation, adjustment and maintenance of industrial production and facility related equipment. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Repairing and maintaining Electronic Equipment Servicing, repairing, and fine-tuning of electronic equipment.
- Servicing, repairing, adjusting, and testing machines, devices, moving parts, and equipment primarily on the basis of electrical and mechanical principles.
- Inspecting equipment to identify the cause of errors or other problems or defects. Inspect components of industrial equipment for accurate assembly and installation.
- Observing, receiving, and otherwise obtaining information from all relevant sources.
- Repairs, replaces, adjusts, and aligns components of machinery and equipment.
- Cleans and lubricates parts of equipment and machinery. Perform scheduled preventative maintenance tasks, such as checking, cleaning, and repairing equipment in the detection and prevention of problems.
- Watching gauges, dials, or other indicators to make sure a machine is working properly.
- Performing routine maintenance on equipment and determining when and what kind of maintenance is needed.
- Installing equipment, machines, or wiring to meet specifications.
- Plumbing and electrical skills.
- Repairing and maintaining basic electronic.
- Forklift operation as needed.

- Assists First Class Maintenance Mechanics on more complicated repairs and installations.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- High school graduate or equivalent.
- Vocational degree in related field or equivalent experience.
- Valid forklift operatoris permit required.
- Valid driveris license required.
- Minimum 4-year related maintenance experience.
- Minimum 3 yearis experience with CNC controlled equipment.
- Must supply basic hand tools up to 1 inch.
- Knowledge of electronic equipment.
- Knowledge of power equipment and tools, including their uses, repair, and maintenance.
- Knowledge of circuit boards, processors, chips, electronic equipment, and computer hardware and software, including applications and programming.
- Should have strong electrical background.
WORK ENVIROMENT / PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Shop Floor environment. Ability to stand and sit for long periods of time. Ability to perform repetitive motion (rotating wrists, keyboarding, using small/large tools). Ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Ability to tolerate constant noise (i.e.: machine motors). Ability to work safely in the presence of hazardous chemicals and hazardous conditions. Ability to follow standard precautions using personal protective equipment as required.
