ENVIRONMENTAL HEALTH AND SAFETY SPECIALIST II VANCE, AL As a member of the EHS Team, the EHS Specialist will provide EHS expertise; structure, and support to the Lear Corporation organization by driving EHS excellence through various means, by effectively coordinating the EHS, and by providing technical and logistical support in the maintenance and continual improvement of the EHS management systems (EHSMS) and in new projects. This would also include the ownership of the EHS reporting requirements. As well as EHS issues to relevant Lear employees, including initial orientations, refresher training and EHS program awareness. The role will also require updating Safety Data Sheets, Hazard Identification, Risk Assessment, Risk control) / Environmental spread sheet, Safety Audits, Incident investigation, ISO 14001-45001 certification, Management of Change documentation, & Safety Team. Engaging with the production team through EHS Lean tools including but not limited to: Leadership Safety Tours, 8D's, Risk Assessment-Workshops, Ergonomic Assessment, Updating Safety Alerts, and boards, attending morning routine meetings & Contained Hazards. Must have flexible working hours. This position requires support at the weekends and/or evening hours. Assist with Workers Compensation Matters.
