I.T. Technician- Level 2 (TS/SCI clearance required)

IMG is hiring a Tier II Technician to troubleshoot hardware and software issues, support junior level technicians, install desktop IT equipment, and assist in the development of new processes to gain efficiencies.

Key Responsibilities

Works individually; actively participates on integrated teams and may lead tasks
• Supports more junior-level technicians or specialists
• Troubleshoot desktop IT equipment (monitors, mice, printers, phones, etc.)
• Analyze root causes and resolve issues
• Perform all tasks of lower-level technicians or specialists
• Replace/Install desktop IT equipment and related peripherals (monitors, mice, printers, phones, etc.)
• Install approved software onto workstations.
• Majority of work will take place at DIAC, but the ability to travel within the NCR (MD/DC/VA) is preferred
• Provide expert support, analysis, research, and advice into exceptionally complex problems, and processes relating to the subject matter.
• Coordinate with contract management and Government personnel to ensure the problems have been properly defined and solutions satisfy customer needs

Minimum Qualifications:

• 8+ years of experience as a technician
  • Minimum required years of experience can vary depending on highest degree level: Associate's Degree + 6 year, Bachelor's Degree + 4 years, Master's Degree + 2 years
• Experience managing junior-level technicians and specialists
• DoD 8570 compliance or information assurance certification commensurate with technical objectives and services required within the task order
• Applicable software or hardware training and certifications commensurate with the technical objectives, services required, and IT environment specified within the task order
• Active TS/SCI (Top Secret with Sensitive Compartmented Information)

Salary- $28-41/ hour.
