Job Summary The Residential Construction Project Administrator provides project management and administrative assistance to the Construction Department; responsible for effectively coordinating and communicating all aspects of renovations and construction repairs made to homes at Eglin/Hurlburt while collaborating with property management, residents, military housing office (MHO), military partners, sub-contractors and vendors. Work Environment While performing the duties of this job, the employee regularly works in an office setting on Eglin AFB. May be required to travel on occasion to Hurlburt AFB Physical Demands The physical demands described here represent those that an employee must meet to perform the essential functions of this job, with or without reasonable accommodation. This role requires regular use of the telephone and email for communication. Prolonged sitting and frequent use of hands and fingers for tasks such as typing and handling documents are common. The ability to hear and see well enough to engage in conversations, receive information, and review documents is beneficial. Some lifting is expected. Exertion of up to 25 lbs. of force may occasionally be required. Manual dexterity is beneficial for operating standard office equipment, including computers, calculators, and copiers. However, reasonable accommodations will be provided as needed. The employee is frequently required to walk. May be required occasionally to reach, stoop, grasp, kneel, and crouch.
