As the Talent & Leadership Development Manager your role will be dedicated to identifying, nurturing, and advancing talent to establish a robust leadership pipeline and foster a culture of continuous learning and growth. Collaborating closely with HR Business Partners, you will design, implement, and evaluate comprehensive talent review processes, including assessment and succession planning. Additionally, you will oversee and enhance talent development initiatives and leadership programs, ensuring they align with organizational objectives and drive sustainable success. A Day in the Life Talent Management and Leadership Development Strategy
- Support the Talent Management and Leadership Development strategy ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives.
- Identify and address key talent development needs and gaps through comprehensive learning assessments, performance reviews, and employee engagement.
- Collaborate with HR Business Partners, DEIB teams, and business leaders to align talent development initiatives with strategic business needs.
- Develop and implement leadership and talent development programs to retain top talent and strengthen the talent pipeline at all organizational levels.
- Create and distribute communication materials and resources
Leadership Development Programs
- Design and deliver impactful leadership development programs to enhance leadership capabilities for team members across all regions.
- Refine and implement leadership capability models and frameworks to guide development initiatives.
- Develop engaging content and design interactive eLearning modules to support leadership and talent development initiatives, ensuring accessibility and alignment with learning objectives.
- Establish processes to develop high-potential, diverse, and early career employees in alignment with career development plans.
- Facilitate leadership workshops, seminars, and coaching sessions to cultivate leadership skills and behaviors.
- Partner with 3rd party vendors on leadership assessments and learning offerings.
Talent Assessment and Succession Planning
- Oversee the annual talent review and succession planning process to identify and develop future leaders.
- Develop and deliver communication materials, training programs, and resources to educate employees and managers on talent management processes and best practices.
- Collaborate with HRBPs and business leaders to identify critical roles and provide guidance for individual development plans.
Coaching and Mentorship
- Provide coaching and mentorship to leaders and high-potential employees to enhance their leadership capabilities.
- Establish and manage coaching programs and external coaching engagements, inclusive of executive coaching, to support leadership development.
- Facilitate mentor-mentee matching to promote knowledge transfer and professional growth.
Performance and Progress Tracking
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of talent and leadership development initiatives and programs.
- Track progress and impact of development plans and leadership programs.
- Collect and analyze data to measure the success of development efforts and make data-driven recommendations for continuous improvement.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree and/or equivalent business experience in adult learning, talent management, leadership development or a related field.
- 5-7 years of progressive experience in talent development, leadership development, and/or talent management.
Knowledge & Competencies
- Proficiency with talent management systems, learning management systems, and e-learning platforms
- Demonstrated ability to build strong relationships and collaborate across various functional areas and maintain effective relationships with all departments and staff
- In-depth knowledge of talent management and development strategies, best practices, and industry trends
- Experience with leadership development vendor relationships and establishing service level agreements
- Metrics-driven with experience in using data and talent market insights to influence and drive programs
- Strong critical thinking, decision making and judgement skills
- Coaching or mentoring certification is a plus
The hiring base salary range for this position is $98,200 - $135,000 annually. Actual compensation within this range will be dependent upon the individual's knowledge, skills, experience, equity with other team members, and alignment with market data.
