Job Summary:

Providing clinical care to children and adolescents with general neurological disorders including recurrent headaches, epilepsy, and other common neurological disorders in an outpatient and inpatient setting. Key Responsibilities:
- Outpatient clinics
- Inpatient service
- Weekend call coverage
- Regional/satellite outpatient clinics
- Mentorship & education of residents/fellows
- Interpretation of electroencephalograms and other related studies used in epilepsy.

Qualifications:
|
Minimum Qualifications: Applicants must meet minimum qualifications at the time of hire.
- 0 - 4 years of experience as an attending physician (assistant professor)
- Board Certified or Eligible in American Academy of Psychiatry and Neurology with Clinical Epilepsy or an equivalent board certification
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO).
Condition of Employment:
- Must successfully pass a drug test through Children's Hospital Colorado
- Must be willing and able to pass a national criminal background check

- Additional training and expertise in Epilepsy.
- Interest and experience in clinical research.
- Interest and experience in clinical trials.
- Interest and experience in education of medical students, residents/fellows
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Strong communication skills; both written and orally
- Broad knowledge and clinical skills in pediatric neurology

Anticipated Pay Range:
|
The starting salary range (or hiring range) for this position has been established as HIRING RANGE: $225,000-$240,000. The above hiring range represents the University's good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting. This position is not eligible for overtime compensation unless it is non-exempt. Your total compensation goes beyond the number on your paycheck.
