The Team:

The Mattel Global Franchise Creative team focuses on delivering pitches, style guides, and creative direction that informs licensed product development around the world for Mattel brands.

The Opportunity:

The Sr Associate PM for the Global Franchise and Consumer Products Creative team is responsible for managing all projects the team delivers: style guides, trend boards, pitch decks, sizzles, campaigns, and key licensee support. The Project Manager works with business team members to ensure a clear brief is provided for each project, and then oversees each milestone. This includes: creating project budget/schedules, prioritizing within the team to balance the work load, working with external vendors/agencies to complete the project, managing all necessary check in points with cross functional teams, and making sure the final project is delivered in the correct format on time. The Project Manager also manages the overarching budget and billing for the teams they support. This role will communicate creative vision as well as business objectives/strategies to the team, cross functional partners, external vendors/agencies, as well as executive leadership.

What Your Impact Will Be:

  • Lead project management process for style guides and design projects
  • Work with creative and marketing teams to develop briefs, schedules, budgets, communicate status and next steps
  • Organize project meetings with creative and marketing teams, setting clear client expectations
  • Act as liaison between Consumer Products Design, Marketing and other brand design teams to ensure alignment and clear communication
  • Manage logistical aspects of projects
  • Keep team members on the right track and on schedule
  • Gather estimates, manage project budget allocations
  • Project tracking and reporting to management
  • Budget assessment and actualizing
  • Review creative requests; provide context and recommended action to management
  • Attend cross functional meetings as the representative of Franchise & CP Creative

What We're Looking For:

Requirements:

  • BS/BA degree in Marketing, Business, Communications and/or 7+ years relevant experience managing creative projects
  • Working on a Global Team/Business
  • Advanced skills in Power Point and Excel
  • Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, Indesign)
  • Strong skills in developing, communicating and implementing processes
  • Experience with Workfront or other PM software and Digital Asset Management systems

Preferred:

  • Creative design or product development
  • Knowledge of the Consumer Products industry (Branding, Design, Advertising)

The annual base salary range for this position is between $80,000 and $116,000.

**This range is indicative of projected hiring range, however annual base salary will be determined based on a candidate's work location, skills and experience.Mattel offers competitive total pay programs, comprehensive benefits, and resources to help empower a culture where every employee can reach their full potential.
