Genesis10 is currently seeking an Agile Scrum Master with our client in the financial industry located in Chandler, AZ. This is a 12+ month contract position. Responsibilities: Optimize the flow of stories and the value delivered by one or more Scrum team, and is focused on serving the needs of the team to drive performance and growth Coordinate and facilitate Scrum ceremonies, manage dependencies for the team, provide visibility into team delivery plans and progress, enable continuous improvement within the team Ensure the impediments are resolved quickly, the team follows their agreed-to processes, and that there is a good relationship between the Product Owner and the development team Promote and coach the Agile mindset and principles, empower the team to become self-managing and fulfill their cross-functional potential Guide and coach one or more teams on Scrum practices, and develop their understanding of Agile principles Facilitate Scrum ceremonies (for example, Sprint Planning, Daily Scrum, Backlog Refinement, Sprint Demos/Reviews, and Sprint Retrospectives) In a Scaled Agile model, facilitate scaled planning for the team (for example, Pre-Planning/Preparation and PI Planning Events) and represent the team in Scrum of Scrums/ART Syncs Help the team define norms/agreements, like a Definition of Ready and Definition of Done, and enforce the agreements Ensure the team has a healthy product and Sprint backlog (in collaboration with the PO) Facilitate dependency management/risk management/impediment removal for the team Promote/facilitate communication and collaboration within the Agile team to support value delivery and Sprint commitments Pay Range: $63.94-$71.94 Only candidates available and ready to work directly as Genesis10 employees will be considered for this position.
