We're seeking a dynamic, detail-oriented Senior Internal Auditor to join our talented team! Position Summary As a Senior Internal Auditor, you'll be responsible for planning, conducting, and documenting audits, ensuring that the bank's internal controls are top-notch. Your expertise will help guide the team to evaluate operating efficiency and compliance while making recommendations for improvements. If you enjoy problem-solving, mentoring, and keeping a finger on the pulse of internal operations, this role is for you. What You'll Be Doing:
Leading audits with a focus on areas of low, moderate, and high risk. Managing audit teams, providing guidance, and ensuring high standards of work across the board. Mentoring and training team members while developing their skills and ensuring a smooth audit process. Reviewing and ensuring compliance with internal control procedures, helping to reduce unnecessary risks. Communicating your findings with management in clear, actionable reports, while maintaining confidentiality at all times. Providing thought leadership and supporting cross-functional teams on various projects.

Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, or Economics (or equivalent experience). Experience: At least four years in audit, management, or financial institutions, including two years in a lead auditor role. Certifications: A Certified Internal Auditor (CIA), Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA), or Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification is required. Preferred: Experience in financial institutions is a plus, but not a dealbreaker!
Skills & Expertise:
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex findings in a clear, professional manner. Knowledge of banking regulations, financial institutions, and IT controls. Detail-oriented with excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other standard office tools.
