PAY RANGE

The Target Pay Range for this position is $21.20-$25.91 hourly. The full Pay Range is $21.11-$30.67 hourly. At BECU, compensation decisions are determined using factors such as relevant job-related skills, experience, and education or training. Should an offer for employment be made, we will consider individual qualifications. In addition to your salary, compensation incentives are available for the hired applicant. BENEFITS

Employees and their eligible family members have access to a wide array of employee benefits, such as medical, dental, vision and life insurance coverage. Employees have access to disability and AD&D insurance. We also offer health care and dependent care flexible spending accounts, as well as health savings accounts, to eligible employees. Employees are able to enroll in our company's 401k plan and employer-funded retirement plan. Newly hired employees accrue 6.16 hours of paid time off (PTO) on a per pay period basis based on hours worked (up to a maximum of 160 PTO hours per year) and receive ten paid holidays throughout the calendar year. IMPACT YOU'LL MAKE:
As a Concierge at BECU, you are the first touchpoint for our members, creating an inviting and seamless experience from the moment they step through our doors. Your role is more than just guiding traffic; you are an ambassador of the BECU brand, proactively engaging with members, identifying their financial needs, and ensuring they receive exceptional service. You will provide valuable insights and guidance, empowering members to take full advantage of our products, services, and digital tools. Your impact will help shape positive and lasting relationships, reinforcing why BECU is the trusted financial partner for our community.

The schedule for this full-time Concierge position at our West Seattle branch varies by week. Scheduled hours will fall between Monday-Friday from 8:30am-6:15pm. Rotational Saturday's after training will also be required from 8:45am-1:30pm.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

  • Be the First Impression: Greet members with warmth, professionalism, and efficiency, ensuring every interaction is positive and welcoming.
  • Guide and Connect: Manage branch traffic flow, directing members to the right team members based on their needs and appointment schedules.
  • Optimize Scheduling: Book, track, and manage appointments, helping to create a smooth and efficient experience for members and staff alike.
  • Maintain an Inviting Space: Keep the lobby and refreshment areas clean, stocked, and well-organized to provide a comfortable atmosphere for members.
  • Empower with Knowledge: Demonstrate and educate members on BECU's remote services, digital banking tools, and technical support to enhance their financial experience.
  • Be a Financial Guide: Leverage your working knowledge of BECU's products and services to assist members with their inquiries, express transactions, and financial solutions.
  • Champion Member Solutions: Identify opportunities to cross-sell products and services that best align with members' needs while providing guidance on the benefits of BECU's remote service options.
  • Enhance Collaboration: Communicate effectively with internal teams to ensure a seamless flow of information and support in meeting credit union goals.
  • Commit to Excellence: Strive for continuous improvement in processes and quality of service, ensuring members receive the best possible experience.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or associated Certification (GED) required.
  • Minimum two years of customer service experience in a retail environment required.
  • Proficient PC skills, with the ability to learn new software.
  • Ability to work a shifting/flexible schedule, including evenings, nights, or weekends.
  • Additional hours as necessary to accomplish objectives, goals, and projects.
  • Ability to sit or stand for periods of up to one hour or more.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Minimum one year of sales experience in a financial retail environment preferred.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to ensure member concerns are handled professionally.
  • Ability to work independently and as a team member, using discretion in decision-making.
  • Strong conceptual and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to analyze and identify member needs effectively.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to exercise confidentiality and discretionary judgment.
