Job Summary
As a Principal Product Manager for Google Cloud NetApp Volumes, you will play a pivotal role in driving growth acceleration initiatives. This includes workload expansion with a particular emphasis on Electronic Design Automation (EDA), VMware solution on Google Cloud, and Self-managed databases like Oracle; service expansion of both file and block protocols; and self-service enablement of customers with zero to low sales personnel touch. Your expertise in product management and market acumen will be instrumental in developing strategies and processes that help us scale Google Cloud NetApp Volumes as the leading enterprise storage solution on Google Cloud. You will lead and collaborate with other product managers and technical marketing engineers to drive the outcomes. Key Responsibilities
- Build and execute product strategies for growth acceleration, and self-enablement.
- Develop a targeted strategy for use case expansion in selected market verticals like Retail, Semiconductors, Health Care and Life Sciences, Oil and Gas, Financial Services, etc.
- Generate compelling technical marketing content, such as videos, blogs, and presentations, to convey the benefits and technical capabilities of Google Cloud NetApp Volumes for workloads.
- Work closely with product development and engineering teams to guide product direction and roadmap based on industry trends and customer insights.
- Deliver training and enablement for sales and technical pre-sales teams to ensure effective customer interactions.
- Engage directly with customers and partners, providing expert advice, best practices, and support for seamless deployments.
- Perform competitive analysis and market research to stay abreast of industry developments and uncover new avenues for expansion.
- Act as a company spokesperson at industry events, conferences, and webinars, showcasing expertise in workloads.
Job Requirements
- Significant experience (15+ years) in product management, technical marketing, or a related field within the cloud, storage or hi-tech.
- Profound knowledge of Public Cloud Services, enterprise customer adoption of new services, hybrid cloud migration, enterprise workloads.
- Demonstrated ability in creating technical content and presenting persuasively to both technical and executive audiences.
- Exceptional communication, collaboration, and project management capabilities.
- Willingness to travel for customer engagements and industry events as necessary.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with public cloud tools, growth practices and processes.
- Knowledge of building and monitoring key performance indicator to give visibility into leading and lagging trackers.
- Familiarity with AI/ML, software development life cycle, security practices and other technologies pertinent to enterprise workloads.
Education
Bachelor's Computer Science, or related technical discipline, required. Masters in related technical discipline or business required. Compensation: The target salary range for this position is 197,540 - 294,030 USD. The salary offered will be determined by the candidate's location, qualifications, experience, and education and may be outside of this range. Final compensation packages are competitive and in line with industry standards, reflecting a variety of factors, and include a comprehensive benefits package.
