Director, Strategic Finance Operations

Location: Hybrid (Local to NYC area)

Position Description:

The Director of Strategic Finance Operations is a trusted transformative leader within the finance organization to align the company's finance and operational goals. This individual will work closely to enhance our operational processes, systems, and strategies. This role involves identifying inefficiencies, implementing improvements, and leveraging data-driven insights to optimize business performance. The ideal candidate has strong analytical skills, experience with process improvement methodologies, and a passion for driving organizational efficiencies.

Key Responsibilities:



  • Evaluate existing business processes that directly intersect with the finance organization within the enterprise, this includes but not limited to workflows and operations
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for process improvement initiatives, collaborating with key stakeholders, including finance, IT, and operations teams, to ensure successful outcomes.
  • Track and manage all intake initiatives to ensure goals and expectation align to the organization
  • Drive the adoption of new platform enhancements and features to support data-driven decision-making and enhance financial visibility and controls.
  • Monitor the effectiveness of process improvements post-implementation and refine strategies to drive further optimization and scalability.
  • Develop and implement optimization strategies to enhance efficiencies, find way to reduce cost, improve profitability and overall scalability.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to streamline process, improve cross-departmental workflows and enhance overall productivity.
  • Monitor and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure success and continuously refine strategies.
  • Establish training programs to upskill the finance team on new platform enhancements, and tools, ensuring smooth transitions and ongoing efficiency.
  • Prepare reports and presentations to communicate findings, recommendations, and progress to leadership.
  • Responsible for adherence to the Capital Rx Code of Conduct including reporting of noncompliance.


Required Qualifications:



  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management or related field.
  • PBM, healthcare experience preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience in business process optimization, operations analysis, or a similar role.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and strategic thinking skills.
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools such as Excel, Power BI, or SQL.
  • Strong project management and change management skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
  • Experience with automation tools and digital transformation is a plus.
  • Knowledge of business intelligence tools and workflow automation technologies.


Base Salary: $120,000 - $135,000

Visa Sponsorship: Capital Rx does not provide sponsorship to any candidates. This includes, but is not limited to those that require H1-B, TN, OPT, etc. Candidates must have authorization to work in the US at the time of application and throughout employment.
