Add to favorites Favorited View favorites Pay Grade/Pay Range: Minimum: $21.25 - Midpoint: $26.59 (Hourly N6) Department/Organization: 504241 - Building Maintenance Normal Work Schedule: Monday - Friday 7:30am to 4:00pm Job Summary: The Painter III acts as a lead worker to perform skilled work at the journeyman level in preparation and staining or painting of interior and exterior surfaces under limited supervision. Hangs and finishes sheetrock. Hangs wallpaper. Interprets plans and makes estimates of required materials needed. Trains and supervises other Painters. Provides work leadership to other trades personnel. Drives drive from site to site. Required Minimum Qualifications: High school diploma or GED and six (6) years of painting experience to include some supervisory or work lead experience; OR journeyman card in painting. Must have valid U.S. driver's license. Must be at least 19 years of age at time of hire and have an acceptable Motor Vehicle Report that is in compliance with University policies. Applicants under the age of 21 will have some driving restrictions. Additional Required Department Minimum Qualifications: Final candidates must submit to and successfully pass a post-offer drug screen.
