Summary of the Job:

The Agribusiness Relationship Manager Advisor (RMA) is expected to complete the designated cohort RMA program within a 18- 24 month period, with the expectation that if successful they will be ready to move into a P3 Relationship Manager position and fulfill those key accountabilities. This is an immersive experience and an opportunity to learn the RM role at an accelerated pace.

About This Role:

Key Accountabilities

Customer Relationship Management: Help customers be successful by understanding customer needs and matching with FNBO solutions. This will be achieved by alignment with "how we will consistently get the work done" though the expected behaviors:

  • Effective use of Salesforce
  • Understanding and use of Precision Lender
  • Demonstrate ability of Sales Management Practices
  • Collaboration with internal partners
  • Full adaption working in nCino
  • Responsibility with oversight
  • 45% -time spent training and observing
  • 45% - time spent on servicing existing business
  • 10% -time spent on growing existing and acquiring new business

2. Business Development Activities:

  • Build a portfolio of business customers by delivering advice and value. Build centers of influence (attorney, accountants, and other needed referral sources).
  • Relationship Advisors will guide, direct, and facilitate solutions across all product specialties of the bank for their business customers.
  • Participate and be involved as an active community member.
  • Identify new business customer opportunities and solutions aligned to match customer needs.
  • Oversee portfolio quality focused on growth and retention in line with credit risk.
  • Facilitate product partners and support teams based on customer needs.
  • Negotiate terms and options with customer.
  • Become proficient in all operations and procedures of the lending department and related computer systems including the bank's mainframe system, nCino, and Optimist 8.
  • Ensure compliance with loan policy and compliance standards, including the Bank's BSA/AML program. Complete all assigned compliance training and adhere to internal procedures and controls, as required. Report any known violations of compliance policy, laws, or regulation, as well as suspicious customer and/or account activity
  • Qualify and document opportunities.
  • Set expectations with customer regarding timeline and product document requirements.
  • Leverage technology and tools consistently for data quality.
  • Use sales and prospecting tools and processes, effectively.

3. Cross Functional Working Relationships: Partner with others across the diverse footprint of the enterprise to optimize referral opportunities to meet the needs of the business customer to accelerate income and growth.

4. Compliance: Understand and comply with bank policy, laws, regulations, and the bank's BSA/AML Program, as applicable to your job duties.

  • Complete compliance training and adhere to internal procedures and controls, as required.
  • Report any known violations of compliance policy, laws, or regulations.
  • Report any suspicious customer and/or account activity.

5. Professionalism/Attendance: Exhibit professional behavior and promote positive working relationships. Maintain regular and predictable attendance.

The Ideal Candidate for This Role:

Knowledge, Skills, Education and Experience:

  • 1+ years of successful banking or other comparable experience.
  • Ability to build and grow a diverse portfolio of business customers and products.
  • Strong customer and people relationship skills.
  • 2 - 3 years of credit analysis knowledge and skills preferred, but not required
  • Proven experience prioritizing and overseeing multiple customer relationships at the same time.
  • Bachelor's degree in Agribusiness related Field, Accounting, or Finance required
  • Demonstrated community and leadership skills.
  • Ability to learn in a fast-paced environment.
  • Teamwork and collaboration.

Compensation:

Compensation range (base pay): $62,047.00-$102,377.00

This role may have a specific starting pay within this range.

Final compensation offer to candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon work experience, education, and/or skill level.
