Position: Project Manager II Salary Range
Overview: We are seeking a skilled and motivated Project Manager II to support our client, a leading organization in the energy sector, known for their commitment to innovation and sustainable energy solutions. This dynamic role will provide an exciting opportunity for an individual with a strong background in project management and technical expertise to contribute to the successful execution of critical projects across various energy infrastructures, including substations, transmission and distribution (T&D), gas-hydro, and operational support groups (OSG). Responsibilities:
Support Project Managers in the coordination and management of office administration and field operations for Project Management Integration, ensuring smooth project execution from start to finish.
Utilize expertise in data analysis to assist in monitoring project performance, providing critical insights to improve efficiency and decision-making processes.
Participate actively in work management, quality assurance, and compliance with project safety requirements, ensuring that all projects meet the highest standards.
Contribute to key project activities, including cost management, scheduling, procurement, and resource planning, ensuring that the project remains on track and within budget.
Engage in field operations, supporting on-site activities to ensure successful project delivery, while maintaining strong safety and quality protocols.
Collaborate with internal and external teams, ensuring effective communication and coordination to drive project success.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering (or a related technical field).
2-5 years of experience in the energy sector, with hands-on experience in project management or related roles.
Certification as an Associate in Project Management (CAPM) or Project Management Professional (PMP) is preferred.
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Project, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word, with the ability to create comprehensive reports and deliver presentations.
Previous experience working in one or more of the following areas is a plus: substations, transmission and distribution (T&D), gas-hydro, and operational support groups (OSG).
Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to collaborate effectively across various teams and stakeholders.
A proactive approach with a focus on delivering high-quality outcomes within project timelines.
