Role: Product Consultant Location: Charlotte, NC Cognizant Technology Solutions is looking for "Product Consultant" to join in our team of IT professionals in a permanent role. We are seeking a highly experienced Product Consultant (T) with 10 to 14 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in Mainframe and FIS Omni Suite along with domain expertise in Life and Annuities Insurance. This hybrid role requires a deep understanding of the insurance industry and the ability to provide technical solutions that drive business success. Responsibilities Lead the implementation and customization of FIS Omni Suite solutions for Life and Annuities Insurance clients. Oversee the integration of Mainframe systems with modern technologies to enhance operational efficiency. Provide expert guidance on best practices for utilizing Mainframe and FIS Omni Suite in insurance applications. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze business requirements and translate them into technical specifications. Develop and maintain detailed project plans ensuring timely delivery of high-quality solutions. Conduct regular system audits and performance assessments to identify areas for improvement. Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to Mainframe and FIS Omni Suite implementations. Train and mentor junior team members on technical skills and industry knowledge. Ensure compliance with industry regulations and company policies in all technical solutions. Participate in client meetings to present technical solutions and gather feedback. Provide ongoing support and maintenance for implemented solutions ensuring optimal performance. Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technological advancements to continuously improve service offerings. Contribute to the development of technical documentation and user manuals for clients. Qualifications Possess a strong technical background in Mainframe and FIS Omni Suite. Have extensive experience in the Life and Annuities Insurance domain. Demonstrate excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. Exhibit strong communication and interpersonal abilities. Show proficiency in project management and the ability to lead cross-functional teams. Have a proven track record of delivering high-quality technical solutions on time. Display a commitment to continuous learning and professional development. Certifications Required Certified Mainframe Professional FIS Omni Suite Certification Life and Annuities Insurance Certification Salary and Other Compensation: This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
