Location: District Wide Scheduled days/hours: Standard hours are 6.75 hours/day M-F with the opportunity to work part time or add additional hours. Qualifications: At least two years of college credits (usually 60 credits in Minnesota) through an accredited institution of higher education; or an Associate or higher degree; OR a passing score on the MN Para Pro assessment demonstrating the knowledge and ability to assist with instruction in reading/language arts, writing, mathematics or readiness for each. Pay Rate/Range: $21.86/hr. - $23.51/hr. 2025-2026 EA Agreement Compensation/Benefits/Perks: scheduled to work 20 hours or more per week are eligible to receive district insurance benefits. Job Summary: Under the direction of licensed special education instructional and/or related services staff, the Educational Assistant - Personal Care Assistant assists one or more students in accomplishing activities of daily living; instrumental activities of daily living, health related functions; redirection and intervention of behavior; instructional activities; and other tasks as are identified within assigned students' IEPs. Responsibilities: Observes, monitors and redirects student behavior. Reinforces appropriate behaviors and maintains discipline in accordance with District policies and procedures. Assists in implementing behavior intervention plans as are specified in individual students' IEPs. Reinforces instructional material presented by the teacher with students individually or in small groups, as directed by the supervising teacher(s). Email To A Friend Print Version |
