Program begins June 9, 2025 and will conclude August 15, 2025

The Robotic Process Automation (RPA) Team has an exciting opportunity that is focused finding an intern to build experience in software design, coding and debugging. The intern will gain real-world software engineering experience at a health insurance company using RPA solutions to improve business outcomes and efficiencies. We frequently work in small teams to solve problems, explore new technologies, and learn from one another. The ideal intern for this environment will be enthusiastic, collaborative and have some experience and exposure to RPA platforms and solutions.

Responsibilities
* Document and test changes / enhancements to existing automations
* Research options that enable improvement to existing tools and processes

Minimum Requirements
* 3.0 overall GPA
* Computer Science/Network Engineering, Engineering, or Mathematics major
* Excellent analytical and mathematics skills
* Experience programming in .NET framework, C#
* Must be team-oriented, possess a positive attitude and work well with others
* Strong verbal and written communication skills
* Good analytical skills
* Detail oriented
* Demonstrated initiative both independently and within a team
* Proficient in Excel, Outlook and Word

All applicants must be able to complete pre-employment onboarding requirements (if selected) which may include any/all of the following: criminal & civil background check in compliance with any applicable laws and regulations.

Work-at-home requirements

  • Must have the ability to provide a non-cellular High Speed Internet Service such as Fiber, DSL, or cable Modems for a home office.
  • A minimum standard speed for optimal performance of 30x5 (30mpbs download x 5mpbs upload) is required.
  • Latency (ping) response time lower than 80 ms
  • Hotspots, satellite and wireless internet service is NOT allowed for this role.
  • A dedicated space lacking ongoing interruptions to protect member PHI / HIPAA information

Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. GEHA considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/training, key skills, internal peer equity, as well as, market and business considerations when extending an offer.

The annual base salary range for this position is $43,160 - $60,840 USD.
