JOB SUMMARY:

Marketing & Advertising Graphic Designer with creativity, artistry and an eye for detail to ideate and design brand assets to support omni-channel marketing campaigns including, but not limited to web, email, digital advertising, social, catalogs, in-store signage, and internal communications.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:



  • Collaborates alongside cross-functional creative and marketing teams to conceptualize and implement quality, impactful, effective visual solutions for all advertising needs-mobile-first digital creative including web, email and social, as well as catalog, direct mail, retail signage, internal communications and more.
  • Translates the Sr. Graphic Designer's campaign vision to all marketing channels and contributes to the creative process with original ideas. Creatively solves marketing challenges through new concepts, design tactic and animations.
  • Designs compelling, on-brand print assets that meet all merchandising and marketing objectives. Understands and applies print specifications and works with production on perfecting all files for delivery.
  • Develops and builds toolkits/templates/standards for: web, emails, social and digital advertising. Execute weekly digital creative and updates, as requested by marketing. Supports each seasonal event through site refreshes and email, social and digital advertising campaigns.
  • Supports CDP targeting and testing through versioning.
  • Maintains awareness of marketing and digital design trends and best practices and share observations and recommendations with cross-functional team. Conducts competitor research in both retail and digital spaces.
  • Monitors quality, accuracy and timeliness of deliverables to ensure commitments are on schedule.
  • Periodically visits to retail stores to understand context of creative, challenges that our Associates face and competitor trends.
  • Works collaboratively and independently within a team.
  • Adaptability to take feedback and provide iterations.


WHAT IS REQUIRED:



  • Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Web Design, Advertising or related field; or equivalent combination of education and/or experience.
  • 3 years' experience in graphic design or similar work.
  • Strong portfolio highlighting a variety of design solutions, multi-channel campaigns, and typography skills.
  • Deep understanding of the elements and principals of design and typography.
  • Intermediate proficiency in Mac OS environment.
  • Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Expert knowledge of Adobe Suite.
  • Advanced knowledge of digital best practices.
  • Knowledge of social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Pinterest) and strategizing the use of norms, trends and user interaction.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills to articulate design concepts.
  • Strong organizational skills with ability to manage and execute projects effectively under specific guidelines, competing priorities and immediate requests.


PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:



  • Prior experience working on a retail account.
  • Familiarity and understanding of HTML5, CSS3, and Scene 7.
  • Familiarity and understanding of FIMGA and SKETCH.
  • Ability to bring concepts to life through motion graphics.
  • Ability to concept and storyboard videos.
  • Artistic with illustration skills.
