Facilities Project Manager

Primary Purpose of Job

Manages and coordinates, schedules and supervises branch and other major facilities improvement projects, including planning, design, construction, renovation and maintenance of all Bank-owned and occupied or leased properties in conjunction with architects, designers, contractors, suppliers and vendors. Provides for management approval of cost estimates of projects and ensures conformity with specifications and completion within schedules and budget.

Major Job Accountabilities

• Plans, organizes, manages and directs activities related to repairs, maintenance and capital improvements, which includes budgeting, design, compliance, construction and maintenance. Plans and oversees maintenance and renovation projects associated with regular inspection of properties and facilities owned and leased by ASB.
• Conducts annual generator, if applicable, testing to help maintain the financial welfare and support of the Bank's Business Recovery Plan. Coordinates the bidding process for all construction contracts and recommends selection of contractors/vendors according to Bank policies, including specifying purchasing of related furniture, fixtures and equipment. Monitors expenses related to capital budget.
• Participates in task forces that evaluate projects, programs and changes to the facilities that affect operating processes, space utilization and staffing requirements as they pertain to the physical plant.
• Ensures a consistent "look" among the branches to include but not limited to maintaining the Bank's branding standards involving exterior and interior signage, ATM surrounds and merchandising fixtures.
• Ability to respond to emergencies and have flexible work hours to accomplish assigned responsibilities and tasks.
• Reviews and approves all invoices per approval guidelines.

Experience Required

• Minimum five (5) years of Commercial property management and project management experience, including but not limited to ability to manage and coordinates repairs, renovations, and construction.

Required Skills or Training

• Demonstrated experience to comprehend detailed, technical blueprints and construction specifications, and technical and legal information.
• Ability to interpret data applicable to contract development and claims settlement.
• Excellent written, oral communication and presentation skills.
• Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Position is required to work under pressure to meet multiple priorities and due dates.
• Works independently, applying logic and reasoning to solve complex problems. Uses sound judgment and discretion in performing work duties and works cooperatively with others.

Professional Certifications, Licenses, And/or Registration Requirements

• Valid US driver's license and access to a motor vehicle.
