IT Risk & Compliance Analyst

Join Mascoma Bank as our IT Risk & Compliance Analyst. In this role you will evaluate business needs against security and advise teammates and business stakeholders by gathering and analyzing security and operational intelligence from various sources. You will partner with various departments to identify control opportunities across different functional business areas of the enterprise. Responsibilities will include information security risk analytics, reporting, and risk remediation process implementation.

As the IT Risk & Compliance Analyst, you will also focus on applying risk management principles to solve complex business issues involving advanced analysis and reporting of data that informs business decisions through threat modeling with the development of information security risk scenarios leveraging internal, external, and systemic inputs.

The successful candidate will have an associate's degree or equivalent experience required with 3 or more years' experience in IT Risk, or Information Security, with a preference for Internal Audit. The candidate must have high ethical standards and strong attention to detail. They will have knowledge and experience of performing ongoing risk analysis to determine what customer services, supporting business processes, systems, components and applications, need to be recovered and within what time frame to comply with recovery time objectives. Ability to work with a high degree of independence, interface effectively with internal and external auditors and providing input regarding risk associated with IT assets is needed in this role. Adheres to and upholds all written policies and procedures of the Bank, including BSA/CIP and OFAC monitoring and reporting, security, operation, and personnel policies. Ability to maintain the utmost confidentiality.

This position can be performed remote, hybrid or on-site within our Upper Valley VT/NH service areas.
