Job Description
Job Description The Airframes Division Contracts Manager will interface with internal and external customers, in coordination with the Airframes Segment Contracts Director in setting strategic revisions to terms and conditions for commercial or Government contracts, primarily Non-Disclosure/PIA Agreements and Third-Party Special Contracts, along with negotiations for aerospace manufacturing sales agreements, amendments, and other forms of contracts as they arise. This position is expected to be filled by someone who can work and execute independently but also will inform and advise the Contracts Director and Business Development teams of areas for improving terms and conditions, as well as support the administrative process of managing contracts administration and electronic communication systems, electronic approval workflows, while developing process improvements. This position will:
- Make decisions and provide advice and support to the Contracts Director, operations and commercial personnel on a variety of contracting-related issues at the Division level.
- Draft and negotiate mostly NDA/PIA's and Sales Rep or Distributor Agreements for sales or supply chain teams.
- Ensure corporate policies and procedures are enforced and adhered to, including some remote training of commercial personnel.
- Collaborate with Contracts leadership, corporate Legal and Finance Departments as needed.
- Represent the Contracts Team at weekly internal contracts review meetings with site and division level sales teams.
- Provide some training to PCC facility site level business development or supply chain teams.
Primary Duties & Responsibilities:
- Daily review and redlining of various forms of agreements for commercial terms and risk identification and provide redlines to Contracts Director and Business Development's consideration.
- Assist in and/or manage internal and occasionally external contract review sessions ensuring involvement of all relevant stakeholders.
- Maintain contracting metric performance using appropriate technological tools.
- Assist the Contracts Director in the creation, management, maintenance, and audit of comprehensive contracting policies, processes, and documentation to ensure compliance with company policy and needs.
- Occasionally provide training of site level or Business Development employees in contracting policies and procedures.
- Assist and support internal business leaders and Contracts Director in negotiations of contracts, some direct negotiation with customers may occur.
- Act as a backup to the other Airframe Contracts Team Contracts Managers as needed.

- Strong IT communication systems skills, Word, contract compare software, and Excel.
- Working knowledge of contracting principles.
- Ability to interface, collaborate, and communicate effectively with internal business partners as well as external sources.
- Growing knowledge of Aerospace Tier II manufacturing processes, products, customers, and supplier interfacing principles, as well as large OEM procurement practices.
- Ability to act as a liaison between internal business partners, customers, and Business Development management.
- Solid organizational skills including exceptional attention to detail.
- Sound work ethic, business acumen, and professional demeanor.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to adapt to shifting priorities, customer concerns, and management objectives.
- Ability to handle multiple priorities and work with minimal supervision.
Experience & Education:
- Ideal candidate must have at minimum 5 years of experience in Aerospace manufacturing contracts management with a large Aerospace manufacturer.
- Experience working in a multi-cultural, international workplace and with international contracts
- Bachelor's Degree in Business or a related discipline; contracts certifications also preferred but not required.
- Demonstrated ability to prioritize multiple projects and assignments.
- Practical experience in both commercial contracting and subcontracting with the US Government and terms negotiation experience.
- Years or experience in the Aerospace manufacturing market a must.
- Knowledge and practice of Lean/Six Sigma and its application to contracts, strongly preferred but not required.
- Strong Knowledgeable and practical experience in FAR/DFARS regulations and contract compliance.
- Occasional travel may be required for contracts team meetings or training.
- "Teams" meeting software experience preferred or similar remote meeting software.
For informational purposes only, the range of pay for this role is $97,800 to $130,000 US Dollar (USD) Salaried based on a variety of factors. For informational purposes only, this role is eligible to participate in the Company's Quarterly Cash Bonus Plan, paid out at the quarterly bonus factor of 2X the Company's bonus multiple, based on the Company's performance in the applicable quarter
