Privacy Notice for California Applicants: https://www.primehealthcare.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/04/Notice-at-Collection-and-Privacy-Policy-for-California-Job-Applicants.pdf Responsibilities Organizes and directs the marketing, internal and external communications, government affairs, public/community relations, media relations, digital media strategy and advertising to develop and build consumer preference and demand for Centinela Hospital Medical Center, Prime Healthcare's hospitals, and affiliated entities in Los Angeles and surrounding areas. Ensures the quality and effectiveness of the marketing and PR efforts in accordance with the policies of the hospital and consistent with administrative guidelines and business development efforts. Responds to media and other requests for information and leads the community relations programs, in partnership with business development, with the goal of driving appropriate volume to the hospitals. Assists with regional government affairs/public relations, media and communications for the entire Los Angeles-region market and collaborates with the corporate team as needed. In addition to in-hospital presence, maintains periodic corporate office presence for working sessions and updates as applicable. Qualifications EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING 1. Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Advertising, Journalism, Marketing or related field. 2. Must have at least 5 years public relations, marketing, advertising, or communications experience, including at least 3 years' experience in the health care field. 3. At least 3 years managerial experience with demonstrated success in increasing business. 4. A track record of effectively dealing with senior level executives, physicians, and board members. 5. Experience with creative software and internet applications, including social media and digital marketing strategies. 6. Knowledge of government relations, marketing practices and research. Skill in conducting and evaluating marketing research and statistical computations to implement marketing communications strategies. 7. Strong communication and relationship building skills; excellent interpersonal skills as well as oral and written communications skills. Benefits may vary based on employment status, i.e. full-time, part-time, per diem or temporary. A reasonable compensation estimate for this role, which includes estimated wages, benefits, and other forms of compensation, is $83,824.00 to $132,059.20 on an annualized basis. The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure.
