JOB SUMMARY:

As HR Operations Analyst, you will directly support day to day operations within the Human Resources function at BioCryst Pharmaceuticals. Your daily interactions with leadership, HRBPs, functional HR groups, and owners is critical to ensuring a seamless, effective and enjoyable owner experience. BioCryst's environment is fast-paced and dynamic. ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:



  • Oversee and execute Onboarding Program for all new owners
  • Ensures an amazing new owner experience once an offer is accepted
  • Partner with the HR Organization to identify operational improvements
  • Create and deliver training and education sessions to owners, and the rest of HR
  • Process a high volume of transactions using standard operating procedures for multiple types of HR transactions, including hiring, personnel changes, reclassifications and related activities.
  • Support the HR team in various HR initiatives and projects, including talent acquisition, HR systems, compensation, and benefits.
  • Research and resolve open owner questions submitted to the HR team
  • Identify opportunities where technology can be leveraged to reduce the reliance upon manual processes in HR Operations
  • Ensure data accuracy and integrity in HR systems.
  • Assist in maintaining the Owner Handbook through annual updates and changes



EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS:



  • Bachelor's Degree, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Previous experience with fast-paced environments, where priorities shift and change
  • Solid understanding of Microsoft Office Suite Products - Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
  • A cheerful, team-oriented, adaptable, and can-do attitude
  • Proven work experience in Human Resources
  • Familiarity with HR databases, applicant tracking systems and candidate management systems
  • Familiarity with social media, especially LinkedIn
  • Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills
  • Minimum 0-2 years of HR Operations experience within a fast-paced environment, and ideally within the Life Sciences Sector
  • Strong organizational skills, keen attention to detail, and ability to prioritize projects and meet highly aggressive deadlines
