The USC Caruso Department of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery seeks up to two board eligible or board-certified Otolaryngologists to join the department. An important criterion is an interest in seeing patients with any general ENT condition. Clinical duties will involve seeing patients in satellite clinics with surgery performed at the Keck Medical Center or other USC affiliated hospital. Our satellite clinics are staffed by multiple faculty and trainees, and so the environment is academic, multidisciplinary, and collaborative.
Our institution offers tremendous clinical, research, educational opportunities and we want our faculty to take advantage of them. Therefore, our department prioritizes mentoring and teamwork as ways to help faculty develop within a friendly, non-judgmental, and inquisitive environment. All faculty are expected to pursue scholarly activities that advance patient health. Overall, we search for faculty members whose career goals include excellence in patient care, research, and clinical teaching. Faculty rank will be determined by the qualifications and experience of the successful candidate.
The University of Southern California (USC), founded in 1880, is the largest private employer in the City of Los Angeles. As an employee of USC, you will be a part of a world-class research university and a member of the "Trojan Family," which is comprised of the faculty, students and staff that make the university what it is.

The annual base salary range for this position is $250,000-$330,000. When extending an offer of employment, the University of Southern California considers factors such as (but not limited to) the scope and responsibilities of the position, the candidate's work experience, education/training, key skills, internal peer equity, federal, state, and local laws, contractual stipulations, grant funding, as well as external market and organizational considerations."
