Job Summary:
The Clinical Systems Analyst will act as a key contributor to the configuration and buildout of eClinicalWorks for ArchWellHealth. This role will actively partner and support end users across ArchWellHealth's markets, acting as a subject matter expert for core clinical applications. The ideal candidate will have experience with implementations of eCWin medium to large-scale environments, be a strong communicator, and demonstrate flexibility in a growing and ever-changing environment.
- Assist in the configuration and initial build of eClinicalWorks
- Perform system configuration in support of enterprise standards and assist in effort in defining requirements for system reporting needs
- Collaborate with the Information Technology team to set up and test integrations and interfaces connected to EMR
- Provide onsite training and go-live support to providers and staff
- Assist and act as core clinical applications subject matter expert for market end users
- Deliver support via ServiceNow ticketing platform to resolve incidents or fulfill requests from market end users
- Develop training documentation, provide training (virtual or on-site), and support for core clinical applications
- Participate in core clinical systems upgrades and new functionality deployments which includes but is not limited to build, testing, devising workflows, developing documentation, training, and support
- Collaborate with team members and vendors to provide a resolution for requests and issues from market end users
- Travel required (10-15%)
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Strong subject matter expertise, technical knowledgeand analytical skills.
- Ability to managea wide range of projects, large and small, along with a high volume of service requests.
- Field incomingproblem tickets from end users to resolve application and software issues within servers, databases, etc.
- Test fixes and perform post-resolution follow-ups to ensure problems have been adequately resolved.
- Communicate application problems and issues to key personnel.
- Maintain and enhance performance of all new and existing software and applications across the organization.
- Identify and learn appropriate software applications used and supported by the organization.
- Coordinate and assist with the implementation of technology projects including modification of existing applications or installation of new applications in eClinicalWorks to address clinical needs as identified.
- Partners with technical teams in reviewing requirements, specifications, testing, supportand training plans to ensure they are in line with business objectives and clinical standards on projects.
- Experience with integration and medical devices set-up, configuration, and troubleshooting strongly preferred.
- Proficiency in eClinicalWorks support to include:basic workflow support, testing, troubleshooting, analysis, and first through third-level support functions.
- Proficient with Provider account provisioning.
- Experience with eClinicalWorks support technicians and respective My.eCWCase submission and tracking.
- Experience with working in, and knowing the differences, with Production vs. non-production environments.
- Experience with testing related to upgrades, patches to EMR, EXE, plugin, and companion products.
- Experience with documenting detailed issues to submit to eCWwith screen shots of workflow and issue, and status of cases.
- Aptitude to learn and master new support and help desk tools, systems, and solutions.
- Ability to think critically and effectively apply problem-solving techniques.
- Understanding of eCWClient installations (EXE, Plugin, Web) with emphasis on plugin usage.
- Understanding of eCWLogs and data for specific provider, staff, and patient information (including eBO).
- Demonstrated ability to maintain productivity in a work-from-home environment.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelorsdegree preferred, or equivalent experience
- Minimum of three (3) years of experience participating and/or leading medium to large-scale implementations of eClinicalWorks (including, but not limited to, EMR build, testing, developing documentation, in-person training, go-live support, optimizations) for providers and staff (front office and clinical)
- Minimum of three (3) years of experience managing eClinicalWorks requests and issues from end users by resolving them on your own or by working with eClinicalWorks support
- Knowledge of implementing quality programs (MIPS, HEDIS, ACO, etc.) within eCWpreferred
