Resident Care Coordinator (Behavioral Healthcare)

Full time: Monday - Friday, 9:00am - 5:00pm; at times some weekends and evenings may be required

Salary: $20.00 - $26.00 per hour dependent on education and experience

Your position objectives:

  • You will provide administrative and case management support to the clinical team and will carry a caseload of up to 84 residents.
  • You will provide comprehensive and exceptional customer service to improve communication and resources to therapists, residents, families, referral sources and other individuals involved in the care and services of the youth we serve.
  • You will be involved in resident care from pre-admission through discharge working collaboratively with all members of the resident's multi-disciplinary team of professionals.

Qualifications

Your Qualifications Include:

  • Bachelor's Degree in human/social services field REQUIRED
  • Able to manage a caseload; which may require, working weekends and evenings as needed.
  • Strong customer service background, capable of supporting multiple referral agency staff, parents, case workers, guardians, probation officers and clinicians
  • Professional written and verbal communication skills and computer literacy with databases, calendaring, Zoom or other virtual meeting software, Excel spreadsheets and tracking software
  • Capable of managing and organizing multiple projects and tasks with excellent follow through and proactive management
