Position Highlights:

  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team in a well-established endocrine practice.
  • Provide expert diagnosis and management of complex hormonal and metabolic disorders.
  • Participate in clinical teaching of endocrinology fellows, residents and medical students.
  • Engage in quality improvement and academic initiatives.

Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate and manage patients with a full spectrum of endocrine conditions.
  • Perform and interpret diagnostic endocrine tests.
  • Provide patient education, lifestyle counseling, and treatment plans.
  • Monitor outcomes and adjust therapies as needed.
  • Maintain comprehensive and timely clinical documentation.
  • Contribute to ongoing clinical research or scholarly work (optional).
  • Stay current with developments in endocrinology and internal medicine.
Qualifications
  • Fellowship trained in Endocrinology and board eligible or board certified.
  • A thorough understanding of the endocrine system and its diseases, disorders, and conditions.
  • Strong analytical abilities to provide accurate diagnoses.
  • Excellent decision-making, interpersonal, and communication skills.
  • Strong organizational, problem-solving, and research skills.
  • Ability to speak multiple languages a plus.

This position offers an attractive compensation & benefits package; excellent work/life balance; clinical research and teaching opportunities; flexible starting date and schedule; reasonable call schedule.

Annual Base Salary: $209,125* based on 40-hour work week. Additional compensation is available for extra call or sessional/per diem hours.

The annual total value of the compensation package is estimated at $ 325,557.50**, which includes the baseline salary, 401(k) contribution, sessional/per diem hours, and other factors as set forth below:

  • Estimated annual compensation for 10 additional sessional/per diem hours worked per week is $55,520.
  • Projected bonus of up to $40,000 (based on previous year's average), contingent upon meeting quality and productivity targets.
  • 401(k) Company Contribution (subject to IRS contribution limits):
    • Employees are immediately vested in a 3% company contribution of base earnings. No employee match is required.
    • After one year of service, employees receive an additional 7% company contribution of base earnings. No employee match is required.
  • Annual Continuing Medical Education (CME) Reimbursement.
  • Generous Annual Paid Time Off (PTO): Vacation, Sick, Holiday, and CME days.
  • Medical, Prescription, and Dental Coverage: Top-tier plans with employee contributions significantly below market rates.
  • Life Insurance and Accidental Death and Dismemberment (AD&D) Coverage: Equal to 2x your salary (up to a maximum of $300,000) provided at no cost to you.
    • Additional employee-paid Voluntary Life and AD&D coverage is available for you and your family.
  • Loan Forgiveness: Position may be eligible for loan forgiveness through certain state or federal programs.
  • Medical Malpractice Coverage (equivalent to occurrence-based): Provided at no cost to the employee.
  • Healthcare and Dependent Care Flexible Spending Accounts (FSAs).
  • Pre-tax employee-paid contributions for commuting expenses.
  • Visa sponsorship will be considered for this position.
