This position is responsible for execution and maintenance of the Quality, Environmental, Health and Safety Integrated Management System at the Huntingdon Valley plant. The primary responsibilities of this role are to provide direction and leadership to manufacture consistent, high quality cleaning products to ensure customer satisfaction, and to update and maintain the Environmental, Health and Safety Programs. The QEH&S Manager is a key member of the Leadership Team.

Key Roles:

  • Responsible for the Integrated Quality, Environmental, Health and Safety Management System.
  • Responsible for administration of Quality Control activities.
  • Manage & maintain all processes, procedures, and documentation.
  • Manage & maintain plant laboratory processes to insure proper maintenance of test instruments and analytical testing of products.
  • Provide direct customer interaction as needed to resolve complaints, customer audits, or other good customer interaction to continue to reinforce our good relationships.
  • Participate in all staff activities to facilitate continuous improvement.
  • Demonstrate passion for safety and the well-being of fellow employees.
  • Demonstrate willingness to learn and contribute outside the area of quality.
  • Support all corporate and divisional initiatives which may also include hands on support for quality activities outside the plant requirements.
  • Collaborate with R&D to select raw materials for new and existing formulations based on their properties, film compatibility and hazard categories.
  • Quality Control (QC) testing of finished products.
  • Conduct routine and non-routine analyses of raw materials, finished goods and stability samples.
  • Troubleshoot problems with chemical manufacturing processes.
  • Collaborate with Operations to optimize performance of equipment and processes and ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations.
  • Develop recipes for product formulations.
  • Participate in SOP development for pouch filling and formulations,
  • Demonstrate compliance within EH&S regulatory programs.
  • Provide technical leadership for the Manufacturing Team by championing Root Cause Analysis for Safety Incidents and Quality Excursions.
  • Implement Safety initiatives to reduce incidents and improve the safety culture at the plant.

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in chemistry or related disciplines.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience working in the industry

Work Schedule:

  • Monday to Thursday 8am to 5:30pm, Friday 8am to 3:00pm
