Exceptional strategic thinker and enablement leader that will drive the overall productivity and effectiveness of the NA Visa Risk organization. Provide thought leadership across strategic initiatives and planning focused on the design, delivery, and effectiveness of the NA Risk overall organization. The role is tasked with challenging the status quo, driving the organization to think and work differently, while inspiring excellence in themselves, their team, and their business partners. Responsibilities
- Partner with NA RRO and Risk leaders to frame the strategy and objectives for the team with an emphasis on developing appropriately prioritized and actionable plans that will drive the Visa's business and risk objectives.
- Manage and serve as a key contributor to the content, planning, scheduling, coordination, and logistics of key NA Risk events including, but not limited to, the Quarterly Regional Risk Committee, Quarterly Business Review, NA Risk Executive Council, and Quarterly Business Review.
- Drive the development of and serve as a key contributor to the content of powerful MIS and reporting for the benefit of our NA Risk and business partners.
- Drive the preparation and provide key input into the content for bi-weekly leadership, monthly all staff, and Bi-weekly business updates to Global Risk and North America leadership teams.
- Establish strong working relationships with the other regional teams to drive operational improvements and ensure adoption of best practices across the globe.
- Manage key business operating rhythms including quarterly revenue and expense reporting, annual planning, outlook exercises, in partnership with Finance
- Assess new capability opportunities and develop business case and vision for enhancements in partnership with Technology and platform owners
- Understand the evolving needs and challenges of ecosystem risk and ensure the technology platform is tailored to meet those needs.

This is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in office will be confirmed by your hiring manager. Qualifications
Basic Qualifications
- 12 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor's Degree or at least 10 years of work experience with an Advanced degree (e.g. Masters/MBA /JD/MD), or a minimum of 5 years of work experience with a PhD
Preferred Qualifications
- 15 or more years of experience with a Bachelor's Degree or 12 years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, or MD), PhD with 9+ years of experience
- Knowledge of the payments industry and experience in risk function is a plus
- Experience with strategic analysis
- Inspirational leader with strong collaboration skills and proven ability to work cross functionally with diverse business unit leaders
- Successful track record of impeccable organizational abilities, validated business insight and client experience
- Effective communicator, able to convey complex ideas in a clear, concise manner both verbally and in writing with executive level presentation and communication experience
- Developed consulting skills enabling the individual to work with others to elicit information, to think objectively and analytically and to influence outcomes positively
- Fact-based and data-driven problem solver with the ability to evaluate alternative courses of action and make sound management decisions

Work Hours: Varies upon the needs of the department. Travel Requirements: This position requires travel5-10% of the time. Mental/Physical Requirements: This position will be performed in an office setting. The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers. U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY: The estimated salary range for a new hire into this position is 160,000.00 to 312,500.00 USD per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity.
