Work Location & Shifts: 970 Route 11, Kirkwood, NY | 1st shift

Pay: The hourly pay rate for this position is $21.00 + benefits. Base pay will vary within the range depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. This information is specific to Kirkwood and may not be applicable to other locations.

What makes a successful team member:

Responsibilities

• Ensures complete and accurate storage of product
• Directs work of warehouse attendants and operators to efficiently expedite the loading and unloading of materials
• Locates, checks and verifies the accuracy of product being received with load requests with sizes, piece counts or other information as necessary
• Take pictures of inbound damaged product for proper acceptance or disposal
• Read/interpret schedules/tickets/shipping documents
• Place product received in proper location(s)
• Communicate with truck drivers on specific dock location for delivery
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment
• Other duties as assigned

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities

• Forklift knowledge and safety procedures
• Knowledge of forklift operating skills to load/unload, lift, move, place and stack raw materials and doors
• Knowledge of proper shipping documentation
• Ability to lift to 50+ lbs frequently
• Regular attendance and timeliness
• Follow all operational and safety SOP's as written

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred and be at least 18 Years Old
• 2 + years of experience in a manufacturing/receiving setting
• 2 + years of Forklift experience
