National Security Business Operations Coordinator
The National Security Business Operations Coordinator is responsible for the day-to-day support, installation, and optimization of security systems across the corporate offices and banking centers within the national network. This role involves oversight and execution of various security systems, including access control, surveillance cameras (CCTV), intrusion detection, ATM security, door hardware and key management.
The National Security Business Operations Coordinator will work closely with internal teams, external vendors, and contractors to ensure seamless operation and continuous improvement of security operations and alignment with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and organizational goals.
Position Responsibilities:
National Accounts Coordination
- Support security operations across national accounts, ensuring systems and protocols are implemented consistently across all locations.
- Collaborate with national and regional teams to identify seamless, scalable security technology solutions that meet business needs.
- Serve as a key individual contributor and collaborator within the team for specific projects.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Corporate Security, Technology, and Real Estate teams to improve installation workflows, coordination efforts and achieve project objectives.
- Assist in developing and enforcing standard operating procedures (SOPs) for security installations.
Program Management
- Plan, execute, and monitor of security related projects across CMA.
- Supervise the full lifecycle of security initiatives, from system design and installation to ongoing service and upgrades.
- Maintain timelines and scope to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery.
- Coordinate the installation, and upgrades of security equipment, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.
Physical Security Oversight
- Conduct pre-installation site assessments, ensuring compliance with security standards and infrastructure readiness.
- Implement security systems for new locations, branches, and ATMs in accordance with CMA's expansion strategy.
- Ensure all security systems meet operational requirements, industry standards, and regulatory compliance for financial institutions.
Access Control, ATM, and Surveillance Cameras (CCTV)
- Coordinate the implementation and optimization of security systems, including access control, surveillance cameras (CCTV) and ATM security.
- Ensure system integration, performance optimization, and maintenance for optimal security protection.
Risk Management
- In partnership with the National Security Business Operations Manager, support risk assessments and security audits, identifying and addressing vulnerabilities in security infrastructure.
- In partnership with the National Security Business Operations Manager, recommend and implement best practices to reduce vulnerabilities and enhance the institution's security posture based on lessons learned and emerging best practices.
- Stay informed on new security technologies, assisting in evaluating solutions that enhance operational efficiency and security effectiveness.
Operational Improvement
- Continuously evaluate security systems and processes to identify inefficiencies and areas for improvement.
- Streamline workflows, improve system functionality, and enhance the user experience for both internal and external stakeholders.
- In partnership with the National Security Business Operations Manager, develop and promote best practices for security system operations and project management.
- Other duties as assigned.
Position Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university in Business, Criminal Justice, or related field OR High School/GED with 3 years of progressive security related experience
- 3 years of experience working with security systems, including access control, surveillance, ATM security, intrusion detection and door hardware
- 3 years of experience with risk management practices and security assessments
- 3 years of experience tracking and documenting installation specifications, performance metrics, and project expenses
- 3 years of experience working in a Corporate Security environment
- 2 years of experience working in a banking or financial institution (preferred)
- 1 year of experience managing projects
Licenses/Certifications:
- Certified Protection Professional (CPP) preferred
- Physical Security Professional (PSP) preferred
Work Best Category: Category C - Days in the office will either be designated days or will vary week to week from 2-5 days
Hours: 8:00am - 5:00pm Monday - Friday
Salary: To Be Determined Based on Individual Experience
