  • Since our shifts are 12 hours long, CA law states we must pay 1.5X your normal hourly rate on days you work more than 8 hours. That's 24.5 hours of time-and-a-half each paycheck!

Shifts Available:

A Shift (front half days) - 6am - 6:15pm, Sunday - Tuesday and every other Wednesday

B Shift (front half nights) - 6pm - 6:15am Sunday - Tuesday and every other Saturday (+15% shift differential).

C Shift (back half days) - 6am - 6:15pm, Thursday - Saturday and every other Wednesday

D Shift (back half nights) - 6pm - 6:15am, Wednesday - Friday and every other Saturday (+ 15% shift differential).

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES


  • Operate Probe Bonding Automated Equipment with bonding power DOE recipe creation, shear data collection, Tip XYZ accuracy verification via Nikon data and bonder errors troubleshooting & clear during automated bonding cycles
  • Document daily shift productivity of each bonders' performance
  • Determine the final product requirements based on job specifications, including appearance and measurement.
  • Verify accuracy of materials used to repair and complete all jobs to specifications including (but not limited to) solder fillet, probe shear and tip position.
  • Examine product for defects such as partial solder fillet and defective probes - as compared to target quality.
  • Properly complete all required WIP tracking and traveler paperwork, always maintain proper separation of product per job and/or lot number, consult with quality assurance on product appearance and performance, maintain cleanliness and organization of bonding area, maintain a professional and respectful work environment.



EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, AND SKILLS REQUIRED


  • Three years of experience in a similar Technician role with a preference on precision component attachment process and repair. Will consider recent BS Engineering grads with 1-2 internship experiences.
  • Experience on surface mount, solder ball bumping, wire bonding, pick-n-place.
  • Strong experience with hand tools (e.g., Tweezers, Vacuum pickup tools, Soldering Irons, die handling, wire bond, test fixtures)
  • Experience in inspection and repair for MEMS device is a plus
  • Familiar with metrology tools, such as Dage shear and Z-scope
  • Computer literate, MS Excel and PowerPoint
  • Good with verbal and written communication
  • Good team player
  • Associate engineering or college graduate degree would be a plus



The base pay range for this role in Baldwin Park, CA is between $27.90 and $36.59. The pay range may differ in other locations. FormFactor maintains broad salary ranges for its roles to account for variations in education, training, skills, relevant work experience, business needs and market demands. Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.
