Kratos C5ISR Modular Systems is currently seeking a Human Resources Generalist to provide professional and administrative support for HR functions including:icompany policies and practices, recruitment, on-boarding, benefits, leaves of absence, employee relations, performance appraisal, corrective actions, workers compensation, personnel actions and supporting activities

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

Partner with functional leaders to actively recruit on open requisitions across the organization.



  • Recruiting external talent from entry level to senior level positions, including technical and administrative positions
  • Maintaining an active pipeline of qualified candidates to ensure staffing needs are met in higher turnover areas
  • Creating up to date Job postings by working closely with hiring managers to clearly identify job requirements and responsibilities
  • Crafting compelling job postings
  • Ensuring inclusive and timely communication with managers and candidates to ensure that managers are well informed, while supporting a positive, high touch applicant experience
  • Provide managers and employees answers to questions related to company policies and procedures and basic benefits related inquiries.
  • Assists in the facilitation of the annual merit and performance reviewWorks closely with the HR Manager on HR projects as required
  • Works with managers and supervisors to ensure smooth onboarding of new hires.
  • May assist with employment activities such as scheduling interviews, drug screens and processing background checks in support of exempt and nonexempt recruiting and hiring activities and temporary agency activities.
  • Assists new employee and benefits orientation sessions.
  • Supports manager with the annual benefit renewal and open enrollment processes. Consults with, and advises employees on their eligibility for these and other related benefits.

    SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY:i

    May oversee the work of the Receptionist/Administrative Assistant on special projects.

Required Experience:
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:

  • Ability to practice discretion in handling confidential and sensitive business information


EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:



  • B.S. degree, preferably in Human Resources Management. Commensurate experience or professional certification may be considered in lieu of degree.
  • 3+ years of related progressive experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
  • Must be familiar with computers and MS Office applications including Outlook, Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
  • Strong experience and significant working knowledge of Federal and State employment laws
  • Must have extensive experience working with an HRIS database
  • Must have strong analytical skills, attention to detail, organizational skills, as well as the ability to meet tight deadlines, and the ability to work in a fast paced, challenging environment


WORK ENVIRONMENT / PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:



  • Primarily works in an office environment.
  • Some exposure to manufacturing areas.
  • Frequent repetitive motion tasks (i.e.computer use)
  • May work occasional extended hours and weekends.
