What You'll Do:

• Support design and manufacturing teams in optimizing processes and improving product quality
• Assist in creating and updating engineering documentation, including drawings and specifications
• Collaborate with machinists and technicians on the shop floor to troubleshoot production issues
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives focused on efficiency, cost reduction, and safety
• Help with new product development and prototyping using precision machining equipment
• Utilize CAD software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, etc.) to assist with design and tooling modifications
• Learn and apply GD&T principles in real-world manufacturing applications
• Perform hands-on inspection and analysis of machined parts using standard measuring tools

What You Bring:

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field

Co-op or internship experience in a manufacturing or machine shop environment

Basic knowledge of machining processes, materials, and tolerances

Familiarity with CAD software (SolidWorks preferred)

Excellent problem-solving and communication skills

A team-player attitude and eagerness to learn from experienced engineers and machinists
